Civil Justice Issues

The mission of OTLA is focussed on seeking justice for all, preserving the civil justice system, championing the rights of those who suffer injury and loss at the wrongdoing of others and promoting public safety and injury prevention.

The Board of Directors and members of OTLA are committed to working in their local communities right across Ontario to ensure this mission is carried out. Sometimes that means participating in local safety initiatives or being on the board of a local chapter of the Ontario Brain Injury Association. At other times, it requires that OTLA undertakes research on major issues, identifies partners for change, and lobbies the Ontario government for legislative action that preserves the rights of all for a fair and equitable justice system. We also support many other groups to do the same.

OTLA is currently involved, and will continue to be involved, in many civil justice issues from auto insurance to product safety and more. We hope you will consider joining us in addressing these concerns.
