Sexual Assault Cases
Loretta Merritt, an attorney with substantial experience dealing with sexual abuse and harassment in civil lawsuits and employment cases, and Dr. Rachel Liebman, a licensed clinical psychologist with research and clinical experience treating individuals exposed to interpersonal trauma and an expertise in evidence-based trauma-focused treatment, will address credibility and memory issues in sexual assault cases, including: 1) assessing credibility in sexual abuse cases; 2) the nature of traumatic memory; and 3) how to anticipate and address credibility problems at various stages of litigation (pleadings, affidavit of documents, examinations for discovery, experts and trial).Expand summary
