Paul Cahill, Will Davidson LLP
Paul Cahill has been practicing law for over a decade. He is a partner at Will Davidson LLP, a boutique litigation firm where he specializes in representing victims of medical malpractice, car accidents, slip and falls, occupiers’ liability, products liability, municipal liability and denied long term disability claims.
He has appeared at both the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal. He has represented clients at administrative boards and tribunals, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Health Professions Review and Appeal Board, and the CPP Review Tribunal.
Paul speaks at industry conferences and is often called upon by legal publications for his opinion on legal matters. Paul works out of the Toronto and Oakville office. Paul believes that the best outcomes for his clients come from hard work and preparation.
Chris Rokosh, Connect Medical Legal Experts
Chris Rokosh is a Legal Nurse Consultant and Certified Perinatal Nurse with over 35 years of experience. She is President and CEO of Connect Medical Legal Experts, a company that provides healthcare expertise to lawyers and medical/legal education to health care professionals. Connect Experts has grown to include hundreds of nursing and medical experts, more than 200 of which are providing expert opinion on any given day. Chris is an experienced expert witness and an invited lecturer at universities and conferences across Canada and the US.
She has been named one of Canada’s top 100 female entrepreneurs and nominated for a CARNA award for excellence in nursing education. Chris has a deep respect for the knowledge within the medical and legal systems, believing that the open sharing of knowledge can have a positive effect on both. She also believes that when you change anything, you have to change it on many levels. To that end, she tirelessly educates nurses, doctors, lawyers and the public on medical/legal issues in healthcare.
