Specialized Sections for Lawyer Members

All lawyer members are eligible to apply for the following specialized sections:
Long-Term Disability Section – dedicated to enhancing the ability of OTLA members to seek redress for clients in conflict with their disability insurers.
Medical Malpractice Section – connect with fellow medical malpractice lawyers through regular newsletters, year-round roundtables and section meetings throughout the year along with practice specific programming at our conferences. Access to Canadian Medical Malpractice Listserve.
Sexual Abuse Section – this section provides resources and support to those practicing in the challenging and increasingly prevalent area of law.

Law Clerk and Paralegal Membership

Open to all law clerks and paralegals who work directly for, and are supervised by, an OTLA member lawyer in good standing.
Law clerk and paralegal members have exclusive access to a dedicated Listserve for law clerks and paralegals only. In addition to this exclusive Listserve, law clerks and paralegal members also receive electronic access to The Litigator, networking opportunities at OTLA conferences, roundtables and webinars along with access to the OTLA website.
Articling Student Membership
